Bartel commits to Geelong

Brownlow Medalist Jimmy Bartel has committed to Geelong until 2011. With the Geelong star coming out of contract the Football Club are hoping to keep as many of their 2007 Grand Final team together for as long as possible. Bartel's signature is an important start to that process.

Game not shown on TV this week

Clash of the round Geelong v Sydney will only be shown on Main Event or on Replay this weekend. Just like the Collingwood v Carlton game was not shown on TV last weekend it appears another top quality game will not be shown until late in the evening on commercial tv.
